NEWSLETTER SEP.25

As a new academic year begins, EUROAVIA València has welcomed its new members – and those who are not so new – with a wide variety of activities.

Last Thursday, September 18, our members had the opportunity to attend an astronomical observation with telescopes at La Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. There, they were able to discover some of the most spectacular nebulae in the summer sky, such as the Lagoon, the Swan, the Dumbbell, and the Ring nebulae.

That same Friday, a welcome reception was organized, where members had the opportunity to get to know each other in a friendly environment. Likewise, anyone interested in joining EUROAVIA València was also invited to attend.

On Tuesday, September 23, the opening General Assembly took place, where the new Board for the 2025/2026 academic year was officially presented. At EUROAVIA València, we are excited to be able to tackle this new scholar year with a committed Board that is eager to work hard to make the most of this year.

In addition, on September 24, some of our members had the opportunity to visit the Control Tower at Valencia Airport and discover firsthand how day-to-day operations are managed there. For those who did not get a place on this visit, another option was provided: to go Spotting at Valencia Airport.

Furthermore, on Thursday we were able to participate in the Generación Espontánea fair at ETSIADI, where we had the opportunity to introduce ourselves to students who had not heard of us before.
To end the month, on Friday the 26th, we held a movie and dinner session, where our members enjoyed watching the film “The Martian.”

We are very excited about the month ahead of us. See you in October!
