After months filled with activities, visits, and unforgettable experiences, May
has arrived as the perfect opportunity to reflect on everything we have achieved
together while continuing to enjoy new activities as EUROAVIA València. As the
academic year slowly approaches its end, our members have remained as active
and enthusiastic as ever.
On May 14, we had the pleasure of attending a talk about drones delivered by
Israel Quintanilla. During the session, our members discovered the many current
applications of drone technology across different sectors, as well as its enormous
future potential within the aerospace industry and beyond. It was an inspiring
activity that allowed us to better understand how rapidly this field is evolving and the
important role it will play in the coming years.
From May 15 to 17, we celebrated our last Astronomy Workshop of the
academic year at the Albergue del Remedio in Utiel. Over the course of the
weekend, members enjoyed observing the night sky, learning more about
astronomy, and sharing unforgettable moments together surrounded by nature.
Beyond everything, the workshop once again became the perfect setting to
disconnect from routine and strengthen friendships.
On Thursday, May 21, we held our General Assembly, one of the most
important moments of the year for the association. During the meeting, we looked
back on all the activities, achievements, and experiences that have defined this
academic year, celebrating everything we have accomplished together as a team. In
addition, the new Executive Board for the 2026–2027 academic year was officially
elected. We are excited to see the future of EUROAVIA València in the hands of a
new group of motivated members ready to continue growing our association.
To close the month in the best possible way, on May 28 we will celebrate one
of the most anticipated activities of the year: the Flight Baptism. For many of our
members, this will be their first opportunity to experience flying in a light aircraft,
turning a passion for aviation into a real and unforgettable experience. We are sure
it will be the perfect ending to an incredible month.
May has once again shown the passion, commitment, and enthusiasm that
define EUROAVIA València. As we approach the end of the academic year, we look
forward to finishing it with many more memories still to come.
