After the exam break in January, we kicked off February with more motivation than ever and a calendar full of exciting activities. This month has been especially meaningful for EUROAVIA València, combining new initiatives, technical visits, and opportunities to strengthen our community spirit. From February 14 to 15, we experienced one of the most special milestones for our association: the first Iberian Congress of EUROAVIA. For the first time, four of the five Spanish local groups — EUROAVIA Cádiz, EUROAVIA Terrassa, EUROAVIA Castelldefels, and EUROAVIA València — came together to share knowledge, experiences, and strengthen the bonds that unite us as future aerospace professionals.
Throughout the weekend, participants had the opportunity to visit the Air and Space Museum, an inspiring experience that allowed us to connect aviation history with the future we are building. We also organized an aeronautical-themed gymkhana, which combined learning, teamwork, and plenty of fun moments. At EUROAVIA València, we are incredibly proud of how this congress turned out. It was an idea we had wanted to bring to life for a long time, and finally seeing so many passionate students gathered in one place was truly unforgettable. This is only the beginning — next year, even better!
On Saturday, February 21, we visited the Olocau Aerodrome, where members were able to explore the facilities and observe general aviation operations up close. Experiences like this allow us to better understand the realities of aviation beyond the classroom, while enjoying a day surrounded by aircraft and great company.
